Welcome to Poynette Veterinary Care! We are a full service companion animal hospital, committed to providing quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet with the highest standards of service and kindness. Our professional and knowledgeable staff of pet lovers will treat you and your pet like members of our family - with respect, dignity, and compassion. These values are at the core of our practice.   • Dr.
    Jayne Yelk
    Veterinarian
    Dr. Yelk grew up in DeForest WI, went to UW Madison, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She spent time at Lodi Veterinary Care in general practice and then progressed to providing full time emergency care services in Madison. She joined Dr. Fabrizius in the spring of 2017 - getting back to her roots of practicing preventative medicine and enhancing the human-animal bond. Her special interests include ultrasound and surgery. She spends her free time with her husband and 3 children as well as their array of pets including horses, dogs, cats, and guinea pigs.

    Amy Mueller
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Mueller grew up in West Salem, a small town just outside of LaCrosse, WI. She went to UW Madison and graduated from the University of Wisconsin College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.  Dr. Mueller was certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture in 2014. She started her career at Lodi Veterinary Hospital where she worked with Dr. Yelk. She is very excited to be have the opportunity to work with Dr. Yelk and be back in this community again. Her special interests include acupuncture and pain relief. When she isn’t at work, Dr. Mueller spends her time with her husband, 2 children, and their dogs and cats.

    Ron Fabrizius
    Veterinarian
    Dr. Fabrizius grew up on a small dairy farm in Illinois and graduated with a DVM from the University of Illinois. He worked in Lodi after graduation, then he and his wife Laurie opened Poynette Veterinary Service in 1993 - which became Poynette Veterinary Care in 2017. These days he enjoys a good balance of providing quality veterinary medicine and spending time on his bike. He is an adamant bike rider and takes numerous bike trips all over the country. He rounds out his time with his family, dogs, cats, and maintaining an operational sheep farm.
  • Chelsea V
    Certified Veterinary Technician
    Chelsea has been at PVC since 2011. She graduated from the MATC Veterinary Technician Program in 2013 where she spent time not only in class, but also on service adventures in Arkansas and Florida working for Heifer international and volunteering at a bird sanctuary. Chelsea shares her life with her two cats and one big brindled bulldog. When not at work she enjoys many outdoor activities (gardening, hiking, camping...) and spending time with her family.
  • Jessica B
    Certified Veterinary Technician

    Jessica graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at MATC in 2015, and started her career at Pardeeville Veterinary Hospital.  Jessica joined the Poynette Veterinary Care team in January 2019 and thoroughly enjoys coming to work everyday  with an awesome caring team.  Jessica currently resides in Pardeeville with her family and their three pets Klinger, Kroger, and Sherman

  • Kelly F
    Certified Veterinary Technician

    Kelly graduated from the MATC Veterinary Technician Program in 2005. After graduating, she worked in multiple small animal practices in the Madison area. She has joined the Poynette Veterinary Care family in 2018. While not at work, Kelly enjoys cross stitching, playing video games and walking her 2 giant dogs.

  • Jaymee B
    Veterinary Technician
    Jaymee has been working in the veterinary field for over 10 years, with experience both in the technical area, and the front desk. She and her husband have lived in the Poynette area since 2005. They share their busy lives with 3 children, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Jaymee enjoys all things outdoors - including gardening, fishing, and hiking. Joining PVC in 2017 enabled Jaymee to continue to work where she can share her passion for caring for animals and their owners.

    Customer Service

    Devan has been with PVC since February 2018 and has 5 years of experience working as a Customer Care Specialist. She grew up and went to high school in DeForest, WI. She has always had such a big love for animals.  She grew up with multiple dogs, cats, ferrets, bunnies, birds, and guinea pigs. In her free time she enjoy hiking, canoeing, and spending time with her 2 year old daughter, Autumn.  She currently have no pets so she enjoys coming to work to give love to all the beautiful fuzzy furry friends.
