COVID 19 UPDATE
We want to thank all of our clients for being patient and understanding during this time! Our clients and their pets are like family to us
Due to the Safer at Home Order from the governor, we are going to be changing our current protocol in an effort to keep our clients and staff healthy while also continuing to care for our patients.
The health and safety of our clients, patients, and staff continues to be our top priority. As Health Care Providers - we will continue to remain available to those who need care for their pets unless advised not to by the proper authorities.
The hospital will be open our normal hours, though we will try to limit client traffic into the building as
much as possible
The hospital will be open to care for both wellness visits and sick pets in the manner we typically do. Please call or text us when you arrive at the hospital (texting is best – we will post the check in number on our doors) Do not come into the clinic until we contact you back. We will call or text you back WHEN YOUR ROOM IS SANITIZED AND READY – then you may enter directly into your exam room
Please call ahead before you come to pick up any medications or foods – we can also take payment over the phone at that time or prior to your arrival. Again, please text/call when you are in the parking lot and we will make arrangements for pick up. DO NOT come into the building until we contact you. This is to limit foot traffic in the clinic and ensure everyone’s safety/social distance.
Please limit family members to a maximum of one person per visit coming into the building
Our staff may be wearing a mask, gloves, or both; this is being done for your safety as well as the safety of our staff.
Any face-to-face discussions will be done with 6-foot social distancing recommendations in mind.
You have the option of leaving and returning later to pick up your pet or waiting for your pet outside the building if you would prefer – we can discuss either situation when an appointment is made, or when you call from the parking lot.
After all care is completed, we will accept payment with our usual methods (credit card, cash, or check). Your transaction may be completed in your exam room.
Surgery patients will continue to be admitted between 8 and 9 AM. Discharge times will continue to be determined through the day based on the order the surgeries are completed – again, we will ask that no one enters the building without contacting us from the parking lot and obtaining approval.
Our situation may change rapidly and without warning. Know that we will make every effort to provide needed health care for your pets.
The good news - there is still no evidence that COVID-19 is contagious to animals or that they are able to transmit the disease!
If you have a fever or are feeling ill, we ask you to remain at home. If you have a fever or feel ill and your pet needs to be seen, please call our us at 608-635-7675 so we can discuss options.
We want to thank all of our clients for being patient and understanding during this time – we will all get
through this together! :)
